It's been awhile! We are so thankful for everyones' prayers and love! Mommy and I did take a break for awhile and are not very sure when we will be back, we just want you all to know we misses you and we think of you everyday!

Espoleta & Eduardo Update

So we have been very busy in the Johnson household. Espoleta found a great home and is very happy according to her new Mommy. Sorry no kittens yet!

I'm doing better, my jaw is working like a pro. I have gained weight & become sluggish but that was to be expected. We have a vet appointment this February, that's when we will find out the next step. Hopefully I am cured!

As you can see the new tab is up on my tab bar explaining our experience with Eosinophilic Myositis with pictures, this tab will be updated as I continue my life! If you feel anyone needs this information, please feel free to share the link!

Hello, I AM ESPOLETA! Say it with me: ES-PO-LE-TA! How do you do? The Crazy Dog boasted of his blogging skills and his many friends and I thought I would steal his blog for today and try to RULE THE WORLD!....I mean...make lots of new friends! I know you all have read my story, so you already know I AM FULL OF NINJAS! Whoops I mean, I am full of kittens! Guess what kind of kittens? If you don't figure it out on your own you'll never be able to SAVE YOUR WORLD! HAHAHAHA! Eh hem...ninja kittens...the best kind of kittens! I believe the Curly Haired Lady likes me, which is good, I feared I would be on the streets forever. Which I could handle! I'm totally tough enough! (Whoa why am I being so defensive?) I wonder if I will be able to stay with the Curly Haired Lady & keep my minions...I mean...kittens! She's always showing me attention you know, the Crazy Dog hates it! MOL! I just bap him upside the head & say, "GET A LONG LITTLE DOGGY!" and he looks at the Curly Haired Lady like, "Really? She HAS to stay?" MOL! Crazy Dog is a fun toy!

So here is my plan, release my minions where they will go on to have more NINJA MINIONS and we will form together to RULE THE WORLD! Teehee...Who will join me?!

Okay...Eduardo the Snuggle Puggle here: Mommy got a ball full of Catnip for Espoleta & she's been screaming crazy stuff ALL day! Ever since she got that ball she pops out from behind the sofa, & yells "CRAZY DOG!" smacks me, then goes back into hiding. Does catnip do this to ALL cats? Once she stops chasing invisible mice & hollering she's a ninja cat, we'll do a real introduction! Once again, this is not Espoleta blogging, it's the catnip!

Espoleta Pt.4

"What?" My Mommy was shocked, here was a flyer reporting a lost cat with not one but TWO photos of Little Kitty! Had Mommy not seen that cat outside every single day since we moved into the apartments? Had she not been feeding Little Kitty(along with many other people in the apartments) on a regular basis? Now here was a flyer claiming she had a home? Also that she MAY about to be having kittens? She snatched the flyer off the stairs & we rushed inside to call the owner of Little Kitty. Once inside Mommy dialed the number & a polite man answered the phone. "Yes, I'm calling about YOUR cat." My Mother was quite distressed she did not want this man to think she had stole his cat! But she had seen Little Kitty outside every hour of the day & night! She was sure Little Kitty did not have a home! Mommy explained to the man she had seen Little Kitty outside all the time. She told him how she had been feeding her & how she feared Little Kitty would have her babies outside & they would freeze or the Tom cats would kill them. To her surprise the man on the phone said he DID NOT keep Little Kitty inside as he had allergies. He also made it clear that if Little Kitty would have a home with Mommy & Daddy that she should just stay there. She was baffled, this was not the response she was expecting. When she hung up the phone she was not entirely sure what had just happened. Had this man not put up flyers looking for HIS cat? The flyer said the family wanted Little Kitty home, yet he did not want to come & get her. Mommy felt a pain in her stomach, she wasn't sure what was going to happen. What if Daddy made her get rid of Little Kitty? Mommy couldn't take Little Kitty living outside it would break her heart. Mommy was slowly being overwhelmed & it seemed all was lost. I was put in my bed, as Little Kitty's previous owner wanted to bring over her collar, rabies tag, & five months worth of flea medication. Mommy was thankful for all of those. I was upset I didn't get to meet the man, but I could hear from my bed.

When he came over he asked if Mommy had named her. "Oh yes" she replied, "I call her Espoleta, because she has a wishbone on her face." "Wonderful name, I always called her Kitty." Well my Mommy thought, now her name is Espoleta, and she has a home.

Espoleta Pt.3

I heard her laugh, my own mom laughing at my torment! I was so confused! "Eduardo, you are so lucky she's declawed!" Declawed? No wonder I felt no pain, but still it's not fun to get smacked in the head, repeatedly! The cat mewed at my Mommy rolling over asking for a rub. I was so intrigued by this creature. However, she had no interest in me what so ever! She just wanted attention & love from my Mommy. Her belleh was very round, and if Mommy touch it without permission from Little Kitty, she received a low growl and a even a smack! This was one tough kitty!

That night my mother bought some medication for earmites. She told me Little Kitty's ears were FULL of earmites it was a wonder she could hear. I was sent to my bed while she treated Little Kitty's ears, but I could hear everything...Little Kitty was not happy with Mommy & voiced her anger! "COLD! PAIN! YUCK! VILE WOMAN!" Little Kitty shouted over & over again. Mommy tried to comfort her but she heard no of it. After the treatment was done I heard Little Kitty purring, Mommy said to her, "See that's better? No more bugs!" I could tell from the bedroom that it was better, Little Kitty's ears didn't smell like they did before & I didn't hear those bugs munching on her sweet little ears!

The next day while me & Mommy were going for a walk we noticed a flyer posted on the stairwell, "LOST KITTY: REWARD FOR MY SAFE RETURN HOME!" There on the flyer were two pictures of Little Kitty....

Espoleta Pt.2

I heard the front door open, to me it seemed thirty minutes later. But time flows together most days, & I have no idea really how long it's been. I heard my Mom soothing someone, she told them it would be okay, they were safe now. I let out a yell, I hoped my mother hadn't forgotten about me! I was ignored, her attention was completely focused somewhere else, I figured it might be awhile before I was released, so I drifted off to sleep.

When I awoke my Mommy was at my crate door. She talked softly to me,"Eduardo you must be gentle with Little Kitty, she's pregnant." I thought about the word pregnant, what could that mean? I didn't have to dwell on it long as my mother informed on it's meaning. "Puggle Pants, she is carrying kittens, you could hurt her & her babies if your rough with her. I would rather you keep your distance." Little Kitty, full of kittens? This sounds like a contradiction, why would my mother call her such a name if in fact she was she was an adult? Well my mother calls me 'Puggle Pants' but I do not wear pants...humans have a weird way of naming creatures!

I was released from my crate, but before I could go out of the bedroom my Mommy stopped me with a stern look. "Don't forget what I said Eduardo." "I won't", I thought I'll just have a quick look at Little Kitty, get some grub & go to bed. I walked slowly trying to find Little Kitty, as I turned the corner I heard a low rumbling sound. My Mommy was running her hand down this CAT'S back talking to her like she loved her! I rushed towards them letting out a loud bark, "CAT!" I barked, "CAT!" my Mommy reached out her hand quickly, grabbing me by the collar. "What did I say Eduardo!?" Oh no I let my primal instincts get the best of me. I forgot I was supposed to keep my distance! "Back up and try again!" I listened, I didn't want to go back to my bed so soon. This time I took my time approaching them. I decided to crawl as it would seem the least threatening. But when I got close to her I heard something very strange, a loud hissing sound! Then out of no where I repeatedly suffered tiny blows to the face(Pt.3 tomorrow, look out for it!)...

Espoleta Pt.1

I heard my Mommy on the phone...she sounded very frantic."Ray, they'll kill her babies, she has no where else to go! Shes starving! PLEASE!" Her pleas scared me, I don't know who 'she' was but we had to help her! "It's dropping to 14 degrees tonight, there is no shelter out there, what if she has them?" I heard muffle grunts come from the phone, my Daddy was not happy and was trying desperately to win this argument. "I will try to find her a place to stay, but just for now, here?...please?" There was a loud roar from the phone, I ran under the bed, it sounded like a monster was going to come out & attack us!"No you don't understand! She has no food, no shelter & she's due any day now!" a defining howl made the phone shake. My Mother was not amused. Again my mother justified her reasons, this time she was getting frustrated, there was a trail of grief in her voice. I let out a tiny whine, I hated to hear my Mommy so upset! "What do you want me to do?! Forget about her?!" There was a long pause I knew my Dad was weighing his options. "I'll go find her, thank you. I love you Panda Bear!" The joy in my Mommy's voice was quite contagious, I joined her & barked my pleasure, "Where are we going Mommy!?" Her weak human ears only heard "Arf! Arf!" Her eyes gazed at me lovingly as if she knew what I was saying. "Eduardo, you must stay here, in your bed. Go now, I'll be back soon." So I went and I waited....

Prayers and Goodvibes: WORKING!

Hello my blogger pals! I've missed you so! Thanks you for your prayers & sending the good vibes, they've worked tremendously!

While my Mommy was researching Eosinophilic Myositis she noticed there weren't enough pictures of animals for her to compare to me. After talking to my Daddy about it, he encouraged her to add a new tab to my blog using pictures & describing lengthily from personal experience what Eosinophilic Myositis is and what it does and what it takes to overcome it! Please bear with me as my blog will be going through these changes.

You've probably been wondering what I've been up to this past couple of weeks? Well, the roids are doing their job. I have been opening my mouth to it's full capability. Chewing & playing tug-of-war like never before! Mommy says sometimes the good outweighs the bad and in my case while being on prednisone this is very true.

The good: I can open my mouth! I can play bitey face, I can eat whatever I want! I can even carry my big rawhide bone around(I've been doing it lately JUST to do it!) Mommy goes into fits of laughter when I pick up my big ol' rawhide bone & prance around the house like a muscle boy!

The bad: I have fevers constantly, the boo boos seem inevitable. And sometimes I just lay around almost depressed like not wanting to go outside or play.

We know I won't be on prednisone for a long period of time as prolong use carries the increased risk of osteoporosis, cataracts, & can affect lipids(Cholesterol). If it is something our vet wants to keep me on according to Mommy's research we will be doing screening for latent bladder infection is important. Monitoring blood tests are recommended with long term use as well. Whatever our vet decides we will keep you updated so you know where we fare in the battle! So far it looks like all your love & prayers are pulling us through & we are going to win this battle & the war! No matter how bad I feel I can't pass up a chance to play! Once again, we love you all! Thank you so much for the good vibes & prayers they are working!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I'm doing better (update tomorrow!), for now I'd like to get back to puggle business!

I've recently had the privilege to try a wonderful product and I would like to share my experiences with you. Grab the pupcorn & get comfy!

Clean + Green Pet Products have a wide variety of cleaning products that are all safe for us & the enviorment. Their products are very easy to use(spray & leave) and all contain their unique Advanced Eliminator3 Formula(TM) which doesn't just cover up the scent; it eliminates odors, deep cleans and removes stains. What more could you ask for right?

Well, I got to test out Clean + Green's Carpet & Upholstery Odor Eliminator, Cleaner & Stain Remover. I told myself, "This is the perfect product for a puggle to test out, as I have made many, many stinky stains around the house!"

The smell was Mommy main concern as no cleaning product has helped so far(or home remedies for that matter). Here is a before shot of the Truly Awful Stain:

Tail not included in stain, although it helped make the stain! BOL! This particular stain is one that everyone got a whiff of when they stepped through our door. When Mommy & Daddy are gone 10 hours a day stains happen, smells happen!

To use this product all we had to do was spray it on the stained area, until barely damp, then leave it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! After the first application we noticed a difference in smell, really remarkable! Several applications later:

Now let me tell you how old this stain is, I started working on this stain when we moved into the apartment and the sofa was where the t.v. is in the pictures(Yep, I used to pee on the back on the sofa, it's why my pawrents don't have friends! BOL!). We've been living here for almost two years! I've been making that stain my WHOLE life!

We was so please with this product we have given them the first ever Snuggle Puggle Seal of Approval! Update on ME!

Hello my friends! Thank you all for your kind thoughts & prayers! I am doing better as far as pain goes.(Mommy doesn't think so because I've been making a sad face A LOT.)

I'm doing a lot of sleeping(more than I usally do), Mommy thinks this is because of the medication. And every now & then I get little burst of energy, where I run around like a mad dog & act crazy! Then minutes later I'm knocked out!

Mommy was "relieved" from work so she is spending some quality time with me. My next vet appointment is in about a month and a half. That's how long I'll be on the steroids. So, some good news: we've changed my diet! My pal Preston sent me some of his food to try & I'm telling you it was a perfect fit! Mommy was so happy to find out about it, and we ordered me some! If you don't already eat it, you should try it! Also here is an update on my cheeks & temples, as you can see they've went it a little more & they get a lot of negative attention from humans at the dog park.

Alrighty everyone me & Mommy are going to snuggle bug & watch a movie!

The Disease and My Snuggle Puggle

Eduardo's Mommy Here:

I've been crying a lot lately, every time I see my sweet snuggle puggle(which is every time I look down) I break down and sob. When I hold him like a baby and stroke his face I cry and don't even realize it. He tries so hard to kiss the tears away but it only makes me cry harder. You see, we thought Eduardo had TMJ and that we would be treating him with an anti inflammatory for the rest of his life for the pain. Well long story short my husband & I decided to take Eduardo to a highly recommended vet for a second opinion because Eduardo was still in unbearable pain most days.

Yesterday, Eduardo was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Myositis. Eduardo's immune system is attacking his Masticatory Muscles causing them to be inflamed. See the Masticatory Muscles are made up of 2M muscles fibers, no other muscles have these unique molecular structure. When a dog gets Eosinophilic Myositis the immune system targets their "chewing muscles" for some unknown reason. This makes the muscles weak and in my personal opinion completely useless.

Eduardo can only open his mouth about the size of puppy kibble, when he yawns (something I gave him his first treatment of steroids yesterday and because yesterday his muscles were inflamed(which causing swelling) I wasn't prepared to see just how bad his Eosinophilic Myositis really was.

I want to show you some pictures, kinda like before & after:

His temples were always more sunk in than most dogs, but we thought that was normal.

Today I took some pictures:

See in the before picture his face was inflamed & swollen, so when we started the steroid treatment the swelling went down. Making his face look a little "hollow".

The vet says eventually he will not be able to open his mouth. Then we will place him on a liquid diet. I'm not crying because of that, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I'm crying because my love is hurting. No matter how much he tries to keep it from me I see it in his little puggle eyes. Every time he eats I hear him gasping for air because he mostly swallows his food, instead of chewing, because of the pain. I cry because I couldn't prevent this!

But I swear on everything I will make it better. I know I haven't been blogging much but the blog is going to take a backseat for a little bit. Please everyone just bear with us. Snuggle with your loves(persons and fursons!) as often as you can! And if you have a moment, could you send some goodvibes? Some sites I read said with treatment dogs can regain full movement back in their jaws. That's what we're praying for. Eduardo is already down to 20% working, the rest is damaged and we want so bad for this treatment to make this muscles healthy again!

Jaw Issues....

I have to take medicine for my jaw every day. I have whats basically TMJ(Temporomandibular joint disorder) in humans. Mommy & Daddy noticed I was in a lot of pain when I yawned or opened my mouth too wide to get a toy or treat. They took me to the vet & found out I was in pain because my jaw was popping out of place & this would cause it to be inflamed. So the vet said for Mommy to try some anti-inflammatory & see how they work, & if they don't help then I may have something more serious. However, they are working, Mommy & Daddy(& ME!) are very happy with how much they're helping me! So here is a video Mommy made of me taking my medication!

Seems like I still have some left to take! I have to be prepared for flu season too you know! BOL!

Something is going on, I have no idea what but I'm totally jelly over it! Mommy's has been baking a whole lot & singing about how I'm a "Big Boy". I didn't think I was fat at all! Also, look what I found on the printer:
What could it mean? Why is everyone acting so strange? Mommy brought home this huge bag of toys Saturday & said they were for "The Big Boy". She said that he would get one on Thursday, because that was a very special day. I'm totally jelly of THIS "Big Boy" & why can't I get a toy? Maybe I need to drop my collar & run around naked for a little while to get some attention!

His name is Nibbler, Mommy says it fits him because when he gives you kisses, bit bites like a cat. His brother taught him that(His brother is a cat, Mommy can't remember his name though).

"Good morning sweet puggle!" That's what my Mommy tells me every morning. She always ask for good morning kisses, but sometimes I look at her like this & she pouts & walks off.

I sit with Mommy in the morning while she drinks her coffee, she looks like a monster when she first wakes up.

In My Jungle

Sometimes when I go for walkies, I like to pretend that I'm in the Jungle.
I'm the king of this jungle & there are many things to explore!

I have many adventure in my jungle. Today I'm looking for my servant, he is a very nice lizard & I know Green Boy is around here somewhere.

I picked up Green Boy's scent & I was on the move. I called "Green Boy, where are you? I need your help reaching the treats in my kingdom!" But he never came out...

I went to his favorite hang out(he loves to lay in the sun.) & called for him again, "Green Boy, Stop this nonsense & come out this instance!". But he never came out...

I was feeling pretty down, I couldn't find my Green Boy & I was started to think something bad happened to him! I mean, who is going to climb the counter tops at home for me & get me my treats? I am a king of a jungle & a king needs a servant!

Mommy said that our walkie was done & it was time to go inside. I decided to make a pit stop & relieve myself. When a squeaky little voice said: "King Eduardo! Don't pee on me!" I was very surprised & a little upset as I had passed this spot at least three times calling Green Boy's name & he hadn't come out...

"Green Boy!" I said, "Get your lizard butt up those stairs right now! Mommy only gives me one treat after walkies & I would like another one!" Green Boy apologized for his tardiness & hurried up the stairs ahead of me & Mommy. Being the King of my jungle is great!

I had a bunny, and I enjoyed playing with.

But I ripped his throat out & Mommy said she was going to throw that bunny away!

The other day I was surprised to see a headless bunny wannabee outside of my bedroom.

Mommy said that this creature was bunny, she had just sewn it's head inside of it's body. With the ears out of course so I would have something to grab & toss it by.

That was great news for me! I love new toys!

Mr.Puggle – So regal looking. This is a Puggle that definitely knows he is king of his household.
Mollie – Looking a little on the spoiled side, this is a princess who rules her thrown with an iron paw

Cody – Cody looks like a betting kind of dog. How many milk bones did he put down on the red team?

Abby - This is what I like to call the "Royal Diva". Abby oozes royalty in this picture perfect photo. If we Divas lived in castles this is what we would look like!
Clover - This Diva pose couldn't be done better by Miss Clover. This is the typical "Damn Paparazzi! What does a girl have to do to get some privacy around here!?"
Gooberstan - Gooberstan demonstrates very well the "I'm cute and if I lay here no will be able to resist scratching my fuzzy belly" Very typical of a Diva to be able to just lay there and be able to make some human scratch his (or her) itch for them!
Stella - his is an unusual Diva pose...not one that i have ever seen before but i have heard of it. This is the "If your a diva and you know it make the cat clean your paws" action shot which has never been caught on film before! I do not personally know Stella but I have read about her on Mango's blog. From what i have read, she is the kind of dog that gets her way or it's the highway and this looks to be a perfect example! Now I have to ask Stella (if i ever get the chance to meet her) How on earth did you train the cat to clean your paws? Is this a part of your weekly pawdicure? If this is the case, than i have GOT to convince my mom to get me and my sisters a cat!
Suzuki - This is the beautiful Suzuki demonstrating the "What the...get that flashy box thing out of my face" Demonstrated by Divas who don't like having their massage session disrupted by camera shots by the paparazzi and are beyond irritated by the lack of customer service from their parent(s). On behalf of Suzuki i would like to ask her mommy to please get her act in gear and get back to giving Suzuki her massage. And as a courtesy...you owe her an extra 30 minutes for free!

Taking a break from the contest today & I want to tell you about a treat. A very yummy treat!

Good Pet Stuff is the maker of Ripples it is a new chew treat for dogs that is both safe and wholesome.

I enjoyed Ripples because they were soft & taste like chicken. Mommy enjoyed Ripples because of the way they are made(fully cooked & extruded like dog food) so I have to chew all of it. The way Good Pet Food has choose to make Ripples prevents me from gobbling the treat down without chewing, protecting against choking and digestive tract blockage. This also makes Ripples easily digestible.

The shape also helps clean my teeth, which is great in between dental visits & teeth brushing! Ripples come in two flavors mint & chicken. Mommy's getting mint for my stinky breath!

Stella: The hair going 20 different directions at once, the slightly dazed and confused look in her eyes, and of course the tongue...the clear winner!!!
Alisa: While being naughty is a Doofus trait, that is not quite destructive enough to be the winner.

Alisa - The pillow is a nice touch for doggies requiring assistance getting into position. I can see that these meditations are very intense. Most likely fueled by a recap of the day's adventures.
Coco The Princess - Excellent showing of team meditation here. The one ear up, one ear down is a difficult move, but it does help focus.
Truffle - Oh, little Truffle! Clearly, eyes open meditations are possible provided one has the right amount of focus. Notice the use of a channel doggie to help drive all that bad vibes out and the good vibes in.
Ariel - This is the first of several contestants showing how an object can be used when more active doggies need to achieve their deep state of tranquility. The choice of a kong is most excellent because staring into its empty spaces brings peace and relaxation.
Cody - The seated meditation! Amazingly advanced move!
Joyce - Good paw placement. Holding your fuzzy arms as wide as possible helps welcome in the positive forces of the universe. Choosing your spot is important too. Note that she is facing away from the legs with flip flops in the background that could distract a less skilled pup.
Ruby - I am not certain if this is another seated meditation or not (given her short legs and all).
Sasha - Bravo! Combined paw placement and meditations. She is using a toy for focus, but has moved beyond having to stare at it.
Lady Godiva - Uh oh, not sure if this is a for real meditation or not. Those eyes do not have the glossy mindless look that one expects in a meditating pup. Methinks perhaps she is merely trapped by advancing stuffies.
Pee-Wee - Ugh! I should have known. This is no meditation, but rather a shameless attempt to advertise his wares for unsuspecting Labragals! Disqualified!

Clover - Another seated meditation with object. Sunlight helps to make one torpid and bake all thoughts out of the meditating brain.

Liffey - Sorry, pal, not a meditation. I can see you vibrating even in that still photo, all trying to figure out how to break out and go after your bones. You labradogs. Sheesh.

Abby - Very creative. Abby is not shy about using whatever object is required to keep her focused and not getting distracted by leaves or yummers grass. Stare into the orb!

GooberStan - I know that saying this might strip me of my MangoGoob title, but come on, man, have you been going to the Pee-Wee school of shameless seduction? Look at those bedroom eyes. I'm going to have to disqualify you too.

Stella - I give Stella extra credit what with suffering under the handicap of being a terrier which makes true meditation near impossible, but she has done it! Way to go little terrier.

Quite a field of dreams...

All (OK, most) of you have shown most excellent meditations skills and some techniques that I, the meditation master, might even try out myself. So hard to pick, but Eduardo insists that I select a runner up and a winner, so without further contemplation, I give you my large and objective decision.

The runner up is...... CLOVER! Study this photo carefully all you meditating wanna be's. Clover is using several meditation aids at once and is well away to her happy place.

The winner is..... RUBY! I was astounded by her meditations. I mean, I have lots of meditative moves, but none of them include smiling! Wherever your little brain is, take me there! Well done, Ruby.

Attacked!

I went to my friend buddy's house, I was so ready to have fun & play with my best pal! But when I got there a little dachshund named Dane attacked me. I was so shocked. Buddy didn't really want to play, & his little brother Bo was very grouchy. I went outside to try & calm down & Dane attacked me again! Everyone was very upset with Dane & he was put away for a little while. After a bit they decided to let Dane out. I was playing in the grass by myself, Mommy was chit chatting & out of no where Dane pounced on me. He grabbed my tail & somehow bit & tore my bumhole. I yelped for help & Mommy chased Dane off cursing him something awful. She ran & scooped me up & covered me in kisses. She took me inside to survey the damage. I seen that my bum was bleeding. I didn't care I still wanted to play. But after a while I layed down & went to sleep. It took me 2 days to feel better, I'm doing much better now though. New Leash & Harness!

Mommy & Daddy bought me a new leash & harness! The leash is retractable & the harness is padded, anti-pull. Mommy & I really enjoy the combination of both. I know when I gone to far & need to come back to her when the harness gets tight around my chest. We had a fun walk today,

Accidents Happen...

Well I did it again...I hurt Mommy's finger bad this time. But it wasn't my fault, it was a accident. Mommy was taking me on my night walk & I seen my friend Lola(she's a very playful pit bull),

When I seen her I pulled real hard(this is something I KNOW better than to do but I did it anyway.)

One of the studs on my leash is bent & when I pulled it went right into Mommy's finger! Mommy felt a pinch but thought, "That's nothing." She didn't even know she had been cut until the leash was wet & she stepped into the light. Mommy thought, "Oh My! I better go have a look at this!"

The leash was covered in blood in some places & Mommy's finger was throbbing. Daddy says she needs stitches but Mommy says no. I gave Mommy lots of snuggles to let her know I was sorry!

Macy came over & spent the day with me, we had lots of fun! We played bitey face, watched out for intruders & wrestled all day long. What fun we had! I can’t wait till next time! Also my Mommy is working a temp job so she is trying to help me blog but working is new to her as she hasn’t done it in two years & she comes home tired! Please bear with us while she tries to adjust!

Working Hard At Making Mommy Cry

I did something awful yesterday that almost cost me my life. My Mommy was so upset she started hyperventilating & thought for sure she was going to go into a seizure. My Daddy was on the phone with an important call & he decided to step outside. My Mommy was in the back bedroom on the computer and I was waiting for my Daddy to open the front door again, as I was feeling naughty. I have only ran out the front door once in my whole life, & the consequences was awful. After that one incident I was taught the wait command & I never ran out the door again. But yesterday I decided to surprise everyone, I was headed towards Macy's apartment & my pawrents were so shocked! My Daddy was still on his important phone call but decided to come inside he opened the door & I ran out. No amount of Daddy yelling, "Come Back In Eduardo!" helped at all. Daddy says to Mommy, "Ana, he's running down the stairs & I'm on the phone!" My Mommy dashed out the door barefoot, yelling, "EDUARDO! EDUARDO! COME! EDUARDO COME!". I looked at her but didn't pay any attention I was on a mission.

My Mommy knew if she chased me I would run away from her, so she ran away from me saying, "Come, Come Now!" It worked I followed her but just when she bent down to get me, I dodged her and ran into the street where...TRUCK! Mommy screamed, "WAIT!" they stopped & I dodged their wheels and ran around Mommy & into some bushes. I thought we were playing some kind of game but Mommy wasn't playing at all. The truck decided to block traffic in case I ran into the street again. My Mommy looked at me, even though she was so terrified she said, "Eduardo, Come to Mommy NOW!" I came to her & rolled over into the submissive position. She scooped me up & started sobbing, I wasn't sure why, I thought we were playing. She couldn't even thank the people in the truck she was just so upset. As she was carrying me up the stairs(she had me in a death grip) she was having trouble breathing & the tears were flowing pretty hard. I kissed Mommy's face to tell her I was sorry but I could tell I was in trouble.

Mommy put me down & I sadly went to my bed. My Mommy cried for a good while, she couldn't understand why I would run like that & she was so upset that she could have lost me. Mommy says she is so thankful that I wasn't hit & I'm pretty good at making her cry!(she's an emotional time bomb)

Friday Fun

On my previous post you seen a picture of my Mommy's thumb & that it was pretty bruised & red from bleeding. I didn't mean to hurt her & felt so bad that when we came in I went straight to my bed & closed the door behind me. What happened was my Mommy's thumb nail got caught in one of the studs in my studded leash.
She didn't know it was caught & I heard a dog crying I decided I should find this dog & help him/her! Well I ran one way, Mommy was going another way the nail was caught in the middle. My Mommy yelled, "Eduardo, WAIT!" I stopped, sat down & looked up at her(blood was running down her thumb) she had a lot of pain in her voice. My Mommy wasn't upset with me as it was an accident but I knew there was something wrong. I behaved on my walk & Mommy expected me to go to the treat cabinet but I decided to punish myself for not paying attention. I got extra snuggles with Mommy yesterday!

Also I received a package yesterday, I was surprised when I didn't see any return address. Has someone figured out who the person is who's sending out this mystery package? Here is a video of me opening the package, & playing with my Mommy & the new toys! Thank you whoever sent them! Please tell me who you are!

Also Mommy finally got the Employee Of the Month pictures up! It took her awhile! Please click on the Employees O/T Month tab to see them. Even after I shut the Snuggle Puggle Work Force down(I would like someone else to start their own game up as well. Games are so much fun! I don't want to leave everyone jobless) that Employee O/T Month tab will stay on my blog with the pictures forever! How cool is that? I will have a slide show with a picture of ALL of my employees on there as well. But that's news for later.

My Mommy left home like this:
With hair down to her butt! And never came home, instead someone else came home. Some lady that SAYS she's my Mommy. But she has VERY short hair and I don't think my Mommy would ever cut her hair! I use her long hair to play tug of war when she does her floor exercises, or she lays on the floor to watch T.V. so why would she cut it off?

Can you see the fear in my eyes? I just want my Mommy & some short haired lady is saying, "Did you miss Mommy, Eduardo? I missed you!" Whats wrong with you lady!?!? I'm not falling into your evil trap! Just go back to where ever you came from & tell my Mommy to come back home!

Not only was yesterday Mommy's day it was also my Mommy & Daddy's one year anniversary! I got Mommy a card, & behaved on my walks, but that was just for Mommy's day not for Mommy & Daddy's anniversary.

They wanted to go out to eat but they didn't have the money but little did Mommy know I've been making her monies into more monies! Now she has lots of monies!

She wasn't very pleased as this is the second time I have done this. However, Mommy was happy that I tried to make her more monies! I hide under the bed & make monies, anybody need me to make you some more money?

Working Hard To Get You Out Of Trouble!

Everybody gets in trouble every now & then but with the right techniques you'll be out in no time!

Make the, "I didn't do anything wrong face." Really go over the top with the eyes.

Bring toys to the accusers & act as though you've forgotten about everything & just want to play.

Follow the accuser around & make them feel like sorry for you. This trick usually results in lovin'!

Show the accuser(a.k.a. still upset pawrents) your belly. If this doesn't result in some lovin & forgiveness then it calls for drastic measures!

Make a funny face, something the angry pawrents can't resist laughing at & they must forgive you & scoop you up & give you lot of snuggles!

Hope these tips help you as much as they've helped me!

Pollen Monster

The pollen monster has attacked me!

It has caused my skin to itch & my eyes to run!

My Mommy says we have to FIGHT back! I prepare myself for the war in the morning with a good stretch,

I take up arms, which is very yummy,

While on the battlefield, I try to physically ignore the beast & let my weapons repel the pollen monster as best as they can.

The battle is long & tiresome...I am drained & need to rest.

Do your worst pollen monster, as I am prepared to FIGHT!

Training The Snuggle Puggle

So many of you were wondering about the waiting for permission to go potty thing. I'll tell you about training the Snuggle Puggle! Me & Mommy go on four 30 minute to an hour walks a day to just practice walking & enjoy the day. My nose use to make it impossible for us to have an enjoyable walk but Amber-Mae gave us some training tips & now I stay by Mommy's side. Also I used to stop & pee on everything,(walk two steps, pee, two steps, pee) which meant walks were cut short, but now when we walk on and I hold it until we get to my favorite spots. Then Mommy says, "Sit," I look up at her with my puppy face & she says, "Go ahead." Then I go potty, make a circle around her & get back into my spot.(which is on her left side). I don't always behave on my walks, sometimes I don't listen & on those days when we come inside I don't even have to be told that Mommy isn't happy with me! I just go straight to my bed & try to use my cute face to win back her love(it ALWAYS works!). If I behave on my walk my Mommy also doesn't have to say anything but most of the time she is so happy that she does! She says, "I'm so proud of you Eduardo!" & I get a big kiss when she takes off my harness then I go directly to the treat cabinet to get a yummy treat. Training to be an off-leash dog is a lot of work & we still have a long way to go, but Mommy can't wait for me to be able to walk beside her no leash attached! A couple of times she has dropped the leash to she what would happen, & I just stop & sniff & then look at her like, "You coming Lady?". One time she was talking to Macy's Mommy & I was supposed to be sitting so she relaxed her grip on the leash. Macy took off running for a squirrel & I thought I would follow(Macy has a very long leash: 15ft, my leash is only 4ft long). The leash flew out of Mommy's hand & her heart skipped a beat. My Mommy thought fast & said(In the most authoritative voice EVER!)"Eduardo! Come!". I turned right around in my tracks & came to my Mommy! How many cookies do you think I got that day? Anyway that's an update on my training, I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
